[The video turns on, fuzzy and too close to whatever it is Arya's trying to show; she still doesn't quite have the hang of technology. Eventually, she backs up, and the fuzzy image resolves into a white tree with red leaves. On its trunk, a face is carved - the sap is red, though, and looks a lot like blood.

Then the video is spinning back to Arya, who looks breathless and dirtier than usual. She's smiling, though, a big, almost childish grin. CREEPY BLEEDING TREES ARE CAUSE FOR EXCITEMENT WHERE SHE COMES FROM.]

It's the godswood! Jon come quick, it's Winterfell! [And the picture gets a shaky cam treatment because Arya is climbing up the first low branch. Everything gets very white then very dark as the camera gets crushed against a tree branch. Who says you can't beat up tech. :|]

[Jon heard her shouting and come as fast as he could, forgetting about even trying to keep an eye on Ghost during his hunt. The wolf would find them when it was time to leave. But he had yet to see a godswood here.

When he found her and the tree, Jon stared at it for a long moment. That looked so much like the heart tree at Winterfell, it was unnerving in some ways.]

"By the gods, it is."

[Arya was climbing up the next branch when he finally showed, and she shot a smile at him as she settled herself - though she swung her leg back around so she could jump down to join him. She landed lightly, in a crouch, and immediately reached for his hand. Though she'd settle for tugging his arm or sleeve or cape if she had to.]

[Jon grabbed her hand. No worries there.]

[Then prepare to be tugged MIGHTILY because Arya is heading straight for where the castle should be.] Winterfell! Maybe - maybe it's there!

[Even if it's burned and everyone's dead. It's something. :c]

[Jon did not want to see Winterfell burned. So while the thought crossed his mind too, it wasn't enough for him to stop her from pulling him along behind her. He'd seen enough on this ship to start to believe that nothing was what you wanted it to be.]

"Do not be shocked if it isn't."

It has to be! [She pulled and tugged and eventually let go and ran through the rest of the godswood. But the gate that was supposed to lead to the keep wasn't there. And then neither was the castle. It was just forest and forest and she stopped, turning on the spot. Had she forgotten the way? Had she gone into the wolfswood instead?]

[Jon didn't think she'd gone the wrong way. It had been years since he'd been in this forest but the trees felt right. There was just no Winterfell.]

"I've never seen buildings in here before, Arya. Perhaps that's it."

[Arya stopped abruptly, staring, and then turned to her brother. She wasn't going to cry; truth be told, she wasn't even tempted to. The night wolf didn't cry. But she could feel that spot in her chest, where her heart used to be, where her parents used to live. It felt hollow again.]

What's a Winterfell? [His life is AN UNHOLY MESS, so he's not exactly smiling for real, but there's a ghost of one there on his face. It's good to see her looking happy, for once.]
