A girl remembers she was here before. She remembers people called her Cat, and knew she sold cockles and clams in Braavos. But that girl is gone. She belongs on canals in the Ragman's Harbor, not here. A girl doesn't belong here either. She wants to leave. She won't answer to Cat any longer.

[She doesn't mention Arya Stark; why talk about some dead girl?]

Her warden calls her Jeyne now. Jesse calls her Shadowcat. But she has no true name, and she never will. Even when she's older.

[And that, ladies and gents, is how Arya deals with having been an adult for a few days. Apparently.]

Not... quite! They sent Minion with me, so he would take care of me. And he did for a while. A long time, really. Long enough for anybody to get tired of it, I guess.

[ He left, and Megamind's heart hurts a little more for entirely different reasons. But he shrugs, flippantly clinging to the shallow end of emotional depth, trying to ignore the undertow that threatened to pull him into deeper waters. ]

But everybody is alone eventually, right?

[She doesn't ask where Minion is; he isn't here now, so she thinks he must have left Megamind, too. She nods solemnly, and tells herself not to think of Sansa Lannister, or of Robb with his head off, or Bran and Rickon flayed. It's hard.]

Yes. Everyone winds up that way.

[ Well, they're just bundles of abandonment issues, aren't they. ]

Yes, I suppose they do.

But we're now in the same boat-- literally.

[SO MANY ISSUES.]

Still alone. A man is the only Blue Man, and a girl is the only Faceless Man.

[ They need a support group. Maybe group crafts... that don't involve weaponry. ]

Yeah, basically.

[ Still a flippant jerk, too. ]

Anyway. You get me something harder, I'll make you a better one. Metal, wood, plastic. Metal is best, and will take time to shape, but I can do it.

[So basically it won't happen :C She shrugs, because she's as unwillling to dive into emotions as he is.]

A girl will look. Next time, she wants to help make it.

Deal. [ He unfolds himself frmo his seat, and gets up off the floor, stretching out. It's then that he remembers Nymeria-- who has been so quiet and good that Megamind .... sort of forgot about her in the whole drawing and shivving and all that. ]

Does the wolf have a name?

[ Please don't let it be 'face eater mcgee' or something. ]

[She's very tempted to say the Night Wolf, but she holds that back. It's their name.] Direwolf, [she corrects, and stands; Nymeria does too, stretching and sniffing in Angus' direction - but the smell loses her interest, and she paces toward the door. Things smell strange in here, and she's ready to leave. Arya considers, for just a moment, then she nods.]

Her name is Nymeria.

That's pretty. Like a Queen, or a-- warrior-princess or something. [ Megamind has an ear for the dramatic. ]

[ He smiles, and steps carefully around them both to see the door open for them. ]

[Well that's unexpected, and she looks up at him, trying to hide her excitement.]

Nymeria was a warrior queen of the Rhoyne. A girl named her direwolf for her.

You'll have to tell me about her, later! Especially if she was smart and clever. [ Because if seh was a brute, she'll be boring. But women can't often be successful and simply be brutes. They have to be cunning, crafty... ]

[Again, she hesitates; she was never a good story tell, she always wanted to jump to the action and ignore the detail - but she nods, after a moment.] A girl will.

[ Megamind seems pleased; he's pretty sure it'll be a tale of stirring heroism or something, but he likes those stories well enough. After all, a good villain is what makes those stories awesome, isn't it? ]
